FAQs

What's the difference between Part 1 & Part 2?
Part 1 teaches you how Kitchen works, feature by feature. Part 2 is where the systems live: portal setup templates, the booking process map, form and email templates, automations and more. Part 1 gets you comfortable with the tool; Part 2 shows you what to build with it.

Do I need a Kitchen account?
Yes, you'll want one to follow along. You don't have to commit to a paid plan on day one, though. There's a lesson on starting with the free plan and picking the right plan when you're ready.

I've never used a client portal. Is this too advanced?
Nope. It starts with basic general settings, then builds from there tackling  each feature one at a time. You can also use as much or as little of the platform as you want in your own portal.

What happens when Kitchen updates something?
Software changes frequently in most cases. Check the Course Updates lesson for change announcements, and the occasional update announcement email related to course updates, specifically, so you stay up-to-date. Inside this course, you'll also get links to Kitchen's help resources & a YouTube playlist of super short tutorials as Kitchen adds new ones.

Who is this for?
Service providers &/or agencies who want a professional client portal but don't want to spend a hours & hours clicking around Kitchen trying to figure out what everything does.
